Description

The Cerberus UGV platform is a fully integrated CBRN detection and EOD robotic platform.  The base robot is a customized SPOT robot from Boston Dynamics.  The Cerberus package includes an updated ground station control, Thermal/IR camera package, military grade extended comms, and our Blackstone CBRN Software system.

The Base Spot® robot with Arm is a nimble robot that climbs stairs and traverses rough terrain with unprecedented ease, yet is small enough to use indoors. Built to be a rugged and customizable platform, Spot® is ideal for performing tasks in hazardous areas.

The Blackstone CBRN software and payload system is a fully integrated, plug and play mapping and streaming software for a suite of CBRN detectors. Blackstone is available as a Spot App plugin, a standalone Android App,  or over Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK).  ATAK is an Android smartphone geospatial infrastructure and military situation awareness app. It allows for precision targeting, surrounding land formation intelligence, situational awareness, navigation, and data sharing.

The Plug-and-play concept allows various agencies to use existing detectors and sensors from their existing inventory on this new robotic platform and stream that data wirelessly to ATAK or the Blackstone App. The detector library includes Mirion Technologies, Smiths Detection, RAE Systems, Thermo Fisher, Pendar, Environics, MSA, 908 Devices, Proengin, and the SRM Air. The library is expandible and upgradeable.
